Deutsche Bank's compliance division flagged Epstein as a Politically Exposed Person connected to Prince Andrew in at least 10 separate KYC/due diligence reviews (EFTA01282092, EFTA01282246, EFTA01298687, EFTA01298740, EFTA01298891, EFTA01363758, EFTA01345246, EFTA01385690, EFTA01299266, EFTA01299334). The standard formulation: "PEP: Yes, close affiliation to Bill Clinton and Prince Andrew." One review notes: "Several media sources have reported Mr. Clinton and Prince Andrew have used Mr. Epstein's private passenger jet 'Lolita Express' on numerous occasions."
WHAT THIS SHOWS AND DOES NOT SHOW: The black book demonstrates Epstein maintained extensive contact details for both the Duke and Duchess of York across multiple residences. Deutsche Bank's compliance division independently identified the Andrew connection as a PEP risk factor. This does NOT establish that Deutsche Bank's flagging led to any action or that Andrew was aware his name was being used in banking compliance contexts.
