Deep corpus mining across jmail (200+ emails), DugganUSA/EFTA (200+ cataloged IDs in barak_catalog.json), and House Oversight (91 files mentioning Barak) reveals a 9-year continuous email correspondence between Barak and Epstein. Barak's emails originate from ehbarak1@gmail.com and ehbarakl@gmail.com; Epstein's from jeevacation@gmail.com and jeeyacation@gmail.com.

Lesley Groff (Epstein's executive assistant) emailed Larry Summers: "Jeffrey wants to make sure you know the dinner party on Tues. Sept. 21 is '100% off-line.'" In a separate email, Epstein wrote to Boris Nikolic (Bill Gates' science advisor): "fyi, Ehud barak the defense minister of israel, Larry summers will be at my house for a small very private dinner."
This establishes: (1) Epstein using Barak's title as active Defense Minister to attract high-value attendees; (2) explicit insistence on the dinner being undocumented; (3) Barak socializing at Epstein's residence while serving as sitting Defense Minister of Israel.

The v3.0 expansion transforms the email picture from a 2-year window (2013–2015) to a 9-year continuous relationship (Sep 2010–Jun 2019). Key patterns: (1) Barak corresponded while serving as active Defense Minister (2010); (2) Epstein used Barak as social bait to attract other high-value contacts (Nikolic, Thiel, Wolff); (3) the relationship survived multiple inflection points — 2008 conviction, 2011 victim allegations, 2016 media coverage; (4) communication intensified rather than diminished in the final months before arrest.
WHAT THIS SHOWS AND DOES NOT SHOW: The emails establish a close, sustained personal and intellectual relationship from September 2010 through at least June 2019. The relationship was a family-level social connection extending to Barak's wife and relatives. The emails do NOT contain references to criminal conduct, young women, or illicit activity. The relationship continued and intensified well after Epstein's 2008 conviction and through to the eve of his 2019 arrest.
