The Vanity Fair profile documents that Epstein "was close to Les Wexner, the owner of Victoria's Secret" and "often talked about his connections to people in the modeling, fashion and acting" industries. One young woman recalled being "summoned by Ghislaine Maxwell to a concert at Epstein's town house" where Victoria's Secret models were present.
"Victoria's Secret - Middle East - URGENT" (Nov 2007, jmail): A jmail email with this subject line documents Epstein's operational involvement in Victoria's Secret business matters — not merely social proximity but active commercial coordination involving the brand.
Sultan Bin Sulayem connection (Jun 2010, EFTA02413497): Sultan Bin Sulayem (Dubai World CEO) emailed Epstein: "Victoria's Secret is Answered Finally!" — connecting Wexner's fashion empire to Epstein's Gulf State contacts and the Barak/Carbyne thread documented in GOY-02.
Victoria's Secret separation (Aug 2, 2021): L Brands underwent complete corporate dissolution. The company separated into two independent publicly traded entities: Bath & Body Works Inc (ticker BBWI) and Victoria's Secret & Co (ticker VSCO). Wexner resigned as CEO. The L Brands name and conglomerate structure were completely discontinued — ending the corporate identity that had been synonymous with Wexner's decades of leadership and the Epstein connection.
CNN documentary (2025): A CNN documentary explored the Victoria's Secret-Epstein links, bringing renewed public attention to the modeling industry's intersection with the Epstein operation.
The Victoria's Secret connection provided two things: (1) a socially acceptable explanation for Epstein's constant proximity to young women — he could claim involvement in the modeling industry; and (2) a recruitment pipeline through which young women seeking modeling careers could be approached.
The v3.0 evidence upgrades the VS connection from passive social cover to active operational involvement. The "Middle East - URGENT" email and the Sultan Bin Sulayem correspondence document Epstein as an active commercial broker for Victoria's Secret, not merely a social companion who happened to know the brand's owner.
WHAT THIS SHOWS AND DOES NOT SHOW: Epstein leveraged his Wexner connection for active commercial involvement with Victoria's Secret, including international business. The Victoria's Secret brand provided social cover. The complete L Brands dissolution in 2021 represented a clean break from the identity associated with the Epstein connection. The documents do NOT establish that Wexner directed, facilitated, or was aware of the exploitation of VS for criminal purposes.
