[GRADE A2 — DOJ primary correspondence, EFTA documents]
v4.0 identified potential intelligence connections through X/Twitter community research. v5.0 validates these through primary corpus documents.
December 22-23, 2014: Ehud Barak arranged a trilateral Skype call between himself, Epstein, and Pinchas Buchris of Reporty (later Reporty Homeland Security). Barak proposed 3:30pm Little St. James time. Buchris's Skype: "pibuchris"; Barak's: "ehbarak".
Pinchas Buchris is a former commander of IDF Military Intelligence Unit 8200 — Israel's signals intelligence unit and the incubator for Israel's cybersecurity industry.
February 11-12, 2016: Barak sent a monthly Reporty board report to Epstein and Nicole Junkermann. The critical detail: "Please note that neither Amir nor Buchris are fully aware of your partnership with me." This means Barak actively concealed Epstein's financial involvement in Reporty from the company's own executives, including a former head of Israeli military intelligence.
January 5, 2016: Barak forwarded Reporty board meeting protocol to Junkermann, Alan Merriman, and Epstein. CC included Yoel Keynan, Alex Dizengof, Pinchas Buchris. Law firm Herzog, Fox, Ne'eman and PR firm ShalomTelAviv (Zamir Dahbash) were engaged. Meetings were held with Magen David Adom (MDA) and Israeli Police leadership.
October 22, 2013: Steven Sinofsky (former Microsoft president) forwarded Epstein a Guardian article about Unit 8200 as Israel's tech incubator.
November 12, 2013: Epstein forwarded the Unit 8200 article to Ehud Barak, demonstrating awareness of and interest in the unit's commercial potential.
January 12, 2011: Dan Dubno sent Epstein a detailed analysis of Unit 8200, the Talpiot program, and how the IDF trains soldiers in science/engineering at Technion. Dubno compared the talent concentration to the Manhattan Project.
The Buchris-Reporty evidence directly connects to GOY-08 (The Israeli Contacts), which documents Carbyne (the renamed Reporty) as a cyberweapons-adjacent company funded through Epstein-Barak channels. The concealment of Epstein's partnership creates a chain: Epstein funds → Barak → Reporty/Carbyne → Unit 8200 alumni → Israeli police/emergency services — with the company's own executives unaware of the Epstein connection.
WHAT THIS SHOWS AND DOES NOT SHOW: Corpus documents confirm that Epstein had a concealed financial partnership in a company founded by a former Unit 8200 commander, brokered through Ehud Barak. The concealment was deliberate — Barak explicitly instructed Epstein that Buchris was unaware. This validates the intelligence connection identified in X/Twitter research. However, no evidence shows Epstein had direct intelligence agency relationships — the connection was mediated through Barak and commercial technology companies.
