In September 2013, David Stern forwards "Term Sheet from Cantor Fitzgerald to Mr. T" to Epstein, who directs the terms: "no predetermined split, and even then payments made only if they choose to? its crazy" and "suggest a counter, fifty fifty split, first 1 millino to offset loan." Stern proposes a 40/40/20 split with 20% for himself. Epstein agrees. In November 2013, a "Draft Cantor agreement" regarding asset management is circulated.

Both David Mitchell and Richard Kahn independently forward the same article about a Silverstein/Cantor Fitzgerald $2B Opportunity Zones fund to Epstein -- indicating active monitoring of Cantor's business activities within Epstein's network.

Richard Kahn forwards a UJA Wall Street Dinner invitation honoring Howard Lutnick to Epstein. Epstein responds: "50k." Kahn asks: "should we deliver check to UJA or someone else such as Paulson, Lutnick etc." The dinner was hosted by John Paulson.
The business relationship spans 2013 to 2019. Epstein was not merely a social contact but an active deal participant (directing Cantor term sheets), political event invitee (Hillary Clinton fundraiser), and financial supporter ($50K to UJA dinner honoring Lutnick). The bidirectional monitoring -- Kahn and Mitchell independently forwarding Cantor articles to Epstein -- indicates Cantor Fitzgerald was a tracked entity within Epstein's financial orbit.
Regulatory history note: Cantor Fitzgerald and affiliates have a documented pattern of SEC penalties: $6.75M in 2024 for SPAC violations, $1.4M in 2023 for trader failures. CG Technology (Cantor affiliate) paid $16.5M in 2016 for gambling and money laundering violations. While unrelated to Epstein, these penalties establish a pattern of regulatory non-compliance at Cantor entities.
WHAT THIS SHOWS AND DOES NOT SHOW: The documents establish active business dealings between Epstein and Cantor Fitzgerald beyond social contact, including deal structuring, political fundraising, and philanthropic donations. They do NOT establish that these dealings involved illegal activity. Business relationships between financiers are common and not inherently suspicious.
