V6.0 UPDATE — TUN Holdings RESOLVED as False Positive: V6.0 deep mining ran "TUN Holdings" against 1.4M documents and returned 30 hits — ALL were OCR artifacts and false positives. The three-letter string "tun" matched passport field labels, URL fragments, and word fragments (e.g., "Shin-Tun Yau" for mathematician Shing-Tung Yau, "tun-in" OCR corruption of a surname). Zero genuine "TUN Holdings" corporate entities were found anywhere in the corpus. The entity referenced in EFTA01299446 at 113 Desmarchais, Verdun, Montreal remains unexplained but is NOT corroborated by any other document.
V6.0 UPDATE — ICIJ Offshore Deep Mining Results:
The zeros collectively show that Epstein's Canadian reach was social/institutional (Trilateral Commission, dinners, FedExes, contact books) rather than operational (shell companies, trafficking routes, financial vehicles). The only documented Canadian financial infrastructure is the CIBC account (redacted holder), the single EFTA01299446 wire record referencing 113 Desmarchais (Verdun, Montreal), and wire transfers through RBC. While CIBC maintained extensive offshore infrastructure (37 officers, 24 entities across 6 jurisdictions), no specific CIBC offshore entity has been directly linked to Epstein through the ICIJ data. Belzberg Investments Ltd (Bahamas) was incorporated in May 2004 — the same year Epstein invested $30M in Belzberg's fund — but no ICIJ path connects this entity to Epstein.
The strongest implication: if Epstein's criminal operation extended into Canada, the evidence for it is either sealed, redacted, or in sources this investigation cannot access (victim testimony, sealed SDNY interview summaries, CBSA records). The documentary record maps the social network comprehensively but stops at the threshold of criminality.
