The v2.0 investigation reconstructed the complete composition of the Seed Media Group LLC board of directors (circa mid-2007):
| Member | Board Role | Primary Function |
|---|---|---|
| Adam Bly | Chairman | Founder/CEO Seed Media Group |
| James M. Gould | Director | Managing Partner, The Walnut Group (Cincinnati) |
| Jamie Macintosh | Director | President/COO, Innovium Media Properties Corp |
| Frederic H. Mayerson | Director | Managing Partner, The Walnut Group (Cincinnati) |
| Ghislaine Maxwell | Director | Epstein associate (removed after April 2008) |
| Neil Raymond | Secretary | Chairman/CEO, Innovium Media Properties Corp |
| James Watson | Advisor | Nobel Prize (DNA), funded by Epstein (~$15-30M to Harvard) |
The simultaneous presence of Ghislaine Maxwell and two managing partners of the Walnut Group of Cincinnati on the same board of directors is a fact documented in public corporate records. James M. Gould and Frederic H. Mayerson, both from 312 Walnut Street Suite 1150, Cincinnati OH, served alongside Maxwell on the governance board of a company funded by Epstein.
Maxwell was removed from the board after April 2008 -- the exact timeline coincides with the period following Epstein's conviction in Florida (June 2008).
Investigations reveal that the Hauser entities investing in Seed Media (Hauser 46 LLC and Hauser Davis Tysoe LLC, 8260 Northcreek Drive Suite 200, Cincinnati) are habitual co-investors with the Walnut Group. Public records document Walnut-Hauser co-investments in Adspace Networks ($20M Series E). Ronald W. Tysoe, principal of Hauser Davis Tysoe LLC, was vice-chairman of finance and real estate at Federated Department Stores (now Macy's) from 1990 to 2006, overseeing more than 30 major retail transactions.
The Mayerson family (Frederic H. Mayerson) is prominent in Cincinnati Jewish philanthropy (Mayerson JCC, Mayerson Foundation), a geographic and community overlap with Les Wexner's prominence in Columbus, Ohio -- although no direct Mayerson-Wexner business link has been identified.
WHAT THIS SHOWS AND DOES NOT SHOW: Corporate records document that Maxwell, two Cincinnati associates, and Innovium executives all served on the Seed Media board. This does not prove that Gould and Mayerson knew the true nature of the Epstein-Maxwell relationship or Epstein's criminal activities. The Walnut Group is a legitimate private equity fund with a public track record of transactions. The board overlap may reflect a standard investment pathway where lead investors obtain board seats. No allegation of wrongdoing is made against James Gould, Frederic Mayerson, Ronald Tysoe, or Mark Hauser.
