This is the latest documented evidence of Epstein-Hoffman contact — August 9, 2018, less than 11 months before Epstein's July 6, 2019 arrest. It extends the documented timeline 7 months beyond the previous latest entry (January 29, 2018: "Reid running 5minutes behind"). Critically, Epstein traveled TO "Reid's office/home" with a driver (Renato), confirming the meeting was at Hoffman's location, not Epstein's.
DOJ documents now confirm the overnight stay with primary source specificity. EFTA02090639 (Groff internal memo): "Reid Hoffman will probably spend the night here at 71st on Thurs. Dec. 4th." EFTA02090026 (Sapieva to Hoffman's assistant): "Reid is invited to spend the night at Jeffrey's home. Plenty of room!!" EFTA02089682 (car logistics): "they will bring Reid to Jeffrey's home at 9 East 71st Street between 5th and Madison." The car service email (EFTA02596958, December 2, 2014: "Jojo or Car Service for Reid Pick Up?") documents further logistics. The following morning was the Bill Gates breakfast (see Part 12).

EFTA01919370 shows Epstein's reply to this schedule. This places Hoffman in Epstein's daily calendar alongside Woody Allen, the former Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd, and Harvard psychologist Steve Kosslyn on the same June 2014 day — documenting the breadth of Epstein's social calendar and Hoffman's integration within it.

Hoffman's 2019 statement claimed last interaction in 2015, later corrected to 2018. The August 2018 office visit confirms the correction was accurate — but the timeline now shows Epstein visiting Hoffman's personal office/home less than a year before arrest.
WHAT THIS SHOWS AND DOES NOT SHOW: Epstein's schedule documents confirm he traveled to "Reid's office/home" in August 2018 and that Hoffman planned an overnight at Epstein's townhouse in December 2014. A June 2014 lunch schedule places Hoffman alongside Joi Ito on a day with Woody Allen and Kevin Rudd. It does NOT establish what was discussed at any meeting. The August 2018 meeting may have been an in-person version of the "5 minutes behind" scheduling pattern. No criminal conduct is alleged.
