Four weeks before the presidential election, Epstein brokered a lunch between Peter Thiel and Vitaly Churkin, Russia's Permanent Representative to the United Nations.
October 3 (EFTA01742840): Groff to Epstein: "Churkin? Thiel? Do you wish me to coordinate with Churkin and Thiel appointments for tomorrow?"

October 7 (EFTA00317557): Weekly schedule confirms: "12:30pm LUNCH w/Peter Thiel and Vitaly Churkin." The same schedule shows Thursday dinner with "Woody and Soon Yi," an "Ariane de Rothschild" appointment, "Tom Barrack" TBD, and Saturday plans for Beyonce at MetLife Stadium.
August 16, 2017 (EFTA02372766): Six months after Vitaly Churkin died (February 20, 2017), Epstein's schedule shows: "4:30pm Appt w/Maxim Churkin." The same week: "BREAKFAST w/Leon Black" (Thursday), "TBD Peter Thiel" (Friday/Saturday). The Churkin family relationship continued beyond the ambassador's death.
In a 33-day period from August 21 to September 24, 2014, Epstein hosted or attended at least three confirmed meetings with Bill Burns -- who had just left the State Department as Deputy Secretary (2011-2014) and would become CIA Director under Biden (2021-2025).
Meeting 1 -- August 21, 2014 (EFTA00364258, EFTA00364250): Calendar: "12:00pm LUNCH w/Bill Burns at Steptoe Office." Groff coordinated with Burns's assistant Mary, providing contact Phil West at Steptoe & Johnson for Burns to meet at noon.
Meeting 2 -- September 13-14, 2014 (EFTA02098291, EFTA02588920, EFTA02589110, EFTA02345109): Groff invites Bob Kerrey to join: "Jeffrey is having Peter Thiel and possibly Bill Burns for lunch at his home in NY on Sat. Sept 13th and Sun. Sept. 14th... Jeffrey is asking if you might be available to join." Kerrey confirms both dates. Groff separately invites Kathy Ruemmler (former Obama White House Counsel) to the same event (EFTA00363671).

The September 19-23 schedule (EFTA00362321) lists: "TBD Boris, Kathy, Peter, Bill Burns, Leon (?)" for Sunday September 21, and "12:00pm Lunch w/Ehud" followed by "1:00pm Kathy Ruemmler to join you and Ehud" on Tuesday September 23.
In a single week, Epstein's documented schedule places him with: the future CIA Director (Burns), a Palantir co-founder (Thiel), a 9/11 Commission member and former Senator (Kerrey), a former White House Counsel (Ruemmler), and a former Israeli Prime Minister and IDF Chief of Staff (Barak).
WHAT THIS SHOWS AND DOES NOT SHOW: The documents establish Epstein as a broker connecting figures from US intelligence leadership, Silicon Valley surveillance capital, Israeli defense establishment, and American political power -- all in September 2014, just months before the Carbyne/Reporty investment was formalized. The Churkin-Thiel lunch places Epstein at the intersection of Russian diplomacy and American tech at the most sensitive possible moment. This does NOT establish that these meetings had any common purpose or that participants were aware of each other's presence at different events.
