[GRADE A2 -- v2.0 graph traversal results, 6 queries across controller nodes]
v1.0 mapped the Thiel-Epstein and Barak-Epstein relationships separately. v2.0 runs graph traversals to determine how these networks overlap -- who bridges both sides, and whether Epstein is the sole intermediary.
Peter Thiel (A1): 200 relationships across multiple entity types. CO_APPEARED_WITH Jeffrey Epstein and Trump. MENTIONED_IN documents from HOUSE_OVERSIGHT, DOJ-EFTA, and spaCy-NER extractions. LINKED_TO_OFFSHORE entities from ICIJ reconciliation data (all low-confidence name matches to Curacao addresses -- false positives, not Peter Thiel the individual). Present across 6+ independent source datasets.
Ehud Barak (A2): 200 relationships (hit query limit). The largest single graph presence of any non-Epstein individual queried. Communications, meeting references, scheduling emails, and document mentions across virtually every source dataset. Barak's graph is deeper and more varied than Thiel's, reflecting his role as a primary operational contact rather than a periodic correspondent.
Thiel-Barak Shortest Paths (A3): All discovered paths are length 2 (one intermediary hop). Three categories of bridge:
Human bridges: Jeffrey Epstein (the primary bridge, multiple path variants). Richard Kahn (the critical non-Epstein bridge -- CO_APPEARED_WITH both Thiel and Barak independently). "unknown person A" (an unresolved identity node connecting both controllers).
Document bridges: EFTA02104075 (the June 9, 2014 Thiel-Barak dinner -- a single EFTA where both names co-appear). HOUSE_OVERSIGHT documents where both are mentioned together.
Event bridges: Two GDELT news events from August 7-9, 2019 (the week of Epstein's death).
[ANALYSIS] Richard Kahn as an independent Thiel-Barak bridge is new evidence. Combined with Phase C results showing Kahn brokering Palantir shares to Epstein, this places Kahn at the intersection of the Palantir founder, the former Israeli PM, and the investment apparatus. Kahn is not merely Epstein's financial advisor -- he is a bridge node connecting both controller networks independently.
Bill Burns (A4): 100 relationships. Documentary mentions and scheduling references rather than email correspondence. Burns is referenced in meeting contexts, not as a direct email interlocutor -- consistent with a high-status contact managed through intermediaries.
Richard Kahn (A5): 150 relationships -- one of the richest individual graphs in the corpus. CO_APPEARED_WITH Darren Indyke (5 files), Jeffrey Epstein (4 files), Lawrence Visoski (pilot), Bella Klein, David Rogers (pilot). His connections to both Thiel (A3 bridge) and the pilots place him at the intersection of financial operations and logistics infrastructure.
Trae Stephens (A6): Exactly 2 results. Both are GDELT news events from August 7-9, 2019. Zero primary corpus documents. No emails, no flight logs, no contact book entries, no financial documents.
WHAT THIS SHOWS AND DOES NOT SHOW: The controller network is not a single chain through Epstein. Kahn operates as an independent bridge. But Trae Stephens -- the figure who physically bridges Palantir to Carbyne through the Founders Fund deal -- has zero primary-source corpus footprint. Any analysis of the Stephens connection must rely entirely on the documented Thiel-Epstein relationship plus public-source evidence.
