[GRADE A1 -- EFTA00212640, EFTA00035759 (FBI investigative products)]
The FBI search warrant affidavit (EFTA00212640) authorized a DNA buccal swab of Jeffrey Epstein. [V2.0 NEW]: The FBI Laboratory Examination Request (EFTA00035759, Sep 25, 2019) from Case 90A-NY-3151227 confirms federal forensic DNA capabilities were applied to the Epstein death investigation.
[V2.0 NEW -- Quest Diagnostics Medical Records]:
Seven Quest Diagnostics reports for Epstein spanning August 2015 through January 2018, and three for Karyna Shuliak from 2018, all route through Dr. Bruce Moskowitz at 1411 N Flagler Dr Suite 7100, West Palm Beach. This establishes Moskowitz as the medical intermediary who had access to biological samples for both Epstein and associates.
[GRADE A2 -- EFTA01842947, EFTA00804855 (Epstein's files, DOJ release)]
Epstein emailed Nikolic: "I want to talk to her about signal processing...wavelet analysis, elliptical transformations, either her or if you can help arrange through her the NSA guys" -- referencing "signal processing biological systems" (EFTA01842947). This documents Epstein's interest in applying signals intelligence techniques to biological data.
[V2.0 CRITICAL NEW -- Human Germline Editing References]:
EFTA00804855 is a document titled "Key references for human germline genetic editing" found in Epstein's files. It covers nucleic acid delivery methods for zygotes and embryos, in vivo gene transfer into testis and sperm, and generation of transgenic sperm. This is the most direct evidence of interest in heritable human genetic modification in the corpus, going beyond therapeutic CRISPR applications.
The CRISPR Investment Track:
The CRISPR investments combined with the germline editing references document place Epstein at the intersection of gene-editing technology investment and human reproductive genetic modification interest. The germline editing document is not attributed to any specific author or purpose.
WHAT THIS SHOWS AND DOES NOT SHOW: The documents establish investment in CRISPR companies, possession of human germline editing references, and NSA-biological analysis interest. The documents do NOT establish that gene-editing technology was applied to the DNA collection program, do NOT attribute the germline document to a specific project, and do NOT connect the FBI's DNA collection to the private genetic infrastructure.
