Morris previously worked at JPMorgan Chase, where he served as Epstein's banker. EFTA documents confirm:
- Morris was listed as "Banker" on Epstein's JPMorgan account statements from 2010-2012 (EFTA01283834, EFTA01282264, etc.)
- Morris managed Epstein entities at JPM including Financial Trust Company Inc, Haze Trust, and Jeepers Inc (EFTA01509698, EFTA01501913)
- Morris was Ghislaine Maxwell's JPMorgan banker from at least July 2010 through May 2012 (EFTA01520358, EFTA01521220, EFTA01522060, EFTA01523536, EFTA01523640, EFTA01523665) — managing her personal, IRA, and OAP FOG accounts across multiple JPM statement periods. JPM team on Maxwell accounts included Ian Hirschfield/Jason Bell (Investment Specialist), Janet Young, and others.
- Morris was Darren Indyke's personal JPMorgan banker — IRA Rollover account (EFTA01504082, EFTA01503996)
- Morris banked Jeepers, Inc. at JPMorgan — Epstein BVI entity, with Justin Nelson as second banker (EFTA01495201/214)
- Morris ordered due diligence on Epstein at JPMorgan in December 2011 (EFTA01480808 — "Confidential Due Diligence Report" on Jeepers Inc., a BVI entity)
- Leon Black was a Morris client at Deutsche Bank — Morris's pipeline spreadsheet shows "$50M" next to Black's name (EFTA01475567)
- 492 JPM-era account statements confirm Morris as Epstein's banker: 231 personal, 208 Financial Trust Company, 53 Haze Trust (EFTA01529762-01530047, EFTA01509698-01509951, EFTA01501913-01502184)
WHAT THIS SHOWS AND DOES NOT SHOW: Morris did not discover Epstein at Deutsche Bank — he brought an existing JPMorgan client relationship. He had been Epstein's banker, Maxwell's banker, and Indyke's banker at JPM. When Morris joined DB in November 2012, he brought the entire Epstein orbit with him. This establishes continuity of the banking relationship across institutions but does not establish that Morris knew about Epstein's criminal conduct.
