This dossier proves that Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell converted Interlochen Center for the Arts into operational recruitment infrastructure for minors. The evidence -- drawn from 97 EFTA/DOJ-OGR documents, three independent trial transcripts (Visoski, Besselsen, Espinosa), FBI 302 witness interviews, a 293-page Interlochen donor CRM, SDNY prosecutor correspondence, AMEX statements, flight logs, and a February 2026 NPR investigation -- establishes six pillars of the recruitment machine: (1) institutional trust purchase ($685K+ across three funding sources), (2) curated target pool (artistically gifted minors from broken homes), (3) financial dependency (tuition payments for multiple students), (4) Maxwell on-site recruitment (walking a small dog to approach children at picnic tables), (5) lodge as private access point (cabin where victims slept, dinners hosted, luggage stored), and (6) operating for others (Wexner, Rothschild co-financing; victim shown to dean; victim introduced to Trump at Mar-a-Lago).
v1.1 upgrades (deep-mining phase, 40 queries across 2 mining scripts): Government exhibit GX-741 identified as Tim Ambrose's August 26, 1993 memorandum to Epstein with "Scholarship Lodge" blueprints (DOJ-OGR-00016040). GX-745 identified as photograph of the completed lodge, now called "Green Lake Lodge," admitted at the Maxwell trial via Besselsen testimony. Kimberly Foley (a.k.a. Cimberly Espinosa, Cimberly Galindo, Cimberly Schinnerer) identified from Leslie Groff's FBI interview (EFTA00269708) as member of a 3-person hiring panel with Epstein and Maxwell. Foley subsequently testified as a DEFENSE WITNESS at the Maxwell trial (DOJ-OGR-00016515) under the name "Cimberly Espinosa." $285K in hidden third-party donations to Interlochen identified: Wexner Foundation $185K (December 1993) + FirstMark Communications $100K (1999, "in Epstein's honor") -- both absent from all public reporting. FirstMark confirmed as Lynn Forester de Rothschild's investment vehicle: Epstein described it to journalist Landon Thomas as "Lady Rothschild's inv vehicle managed by Starr -- director Conrad Black" (EFTA00734853). Complete compartmentalization confirmed: zero hits across 70,000+ jmail emails for Interlochen, Ambrose, Foley, FirstMark, or Forester.
v1.2 upgrades (master detective deep-mining, 20 queries across 5 phases): Full Espinosa trial testimony recovered (DOJ-OGR-00016515 through DOJ-OGR-00016520, 10 transcript pages). Espinosa testified she was hired in October 1996 at J. Epstein & Co. as legal assistant, interviewed by Schantz and Indyke, then by Ghislaine Maxwell in the back of a limousine driving around Manhattan, then by Epstein himself. She became Maxwell's executive assistant after filling in one day, serving as Maxwell's EA for approximately six years (November 1996 to summer 2002). Groff FBI interview (EFTA00269708) clarified: Foley was on the 3-person hiring panel that interviewed Groff for a position at Epstein's company in February 2001 -- establishing Foley as senior staff with gatekeeping authority over new hires. Full Epstein-Mandelson email chain (EFTA00752100) reveals Peter Mandelson as correspondent, Epstein claiming Kenneth Starr was Rothschild's financial advisor at FirstMark, Evelyn de Rothschild "masquerading under the name Robert Acton" while still married, and Rothschild asking Epstein to become FirstMark director alongside Conrad Black and Henry Kissinger. Comprehensive compartmentalization audit: 18 of 18 Michigan-related search terms returned ZERO hits across 70,000+ jmail emails -- including Picerne, Bjorlin, Besselsen, Traverse City, Oscoda, Green Lake Lodge, and Scholarship Lodge -- confirming total operational separation.
v1.3 upgrades (recruitment machine deep extraction, 30+ queries across 7 phases): Three independent sources corroborate the identical recruitment scene: prosecution summation, FBI 302 witness interview, and SDNY prosecution memorandum all confirm Maxwell approached Jane at a picnic table with a small Yorkie dog while Epstein followed behind. Prosecution summation (DOJ-OGR-00017042) establishes Jane was 13 years old, weighed 90 pounds, and had just completed seventh grade when recruited at Interlochen in summer 1994. Pilot David Rodgers testified he flew to Traverse City seven times between 1991 and 1998, always in August; the August 18, 1994 flight confirmed from Aspen to TVC with Maxwell on the August 20 return. FBI 302s confirm victim's family "slept at Epstein's cabin in Interlochen" and Epstein was remembered as "a godfather figure." Defense cross-examination transcript reveals Epstein introduced victim to "the dean of Interlochen at a cocktail party" (victim told FBI in 2019, later confused with Julliard dean at trial). SDNY prosecutor email (EFTA00097133) reveals prosecutors suspected "there may be other students" whose tuition Epstein paid and discovered that "Epstein has been donating tuition" with Interlochen deciding "not to count this as a charitable contribution for tax purposes." Same email confirms Wexner Foundation $185K lodge donation dated July 25, 1994 -- weeks before Jane's recruitment. Defense disclosure (EFTA00009985) reveals defense possessed independent "Ex._D_Interlochen_Records.pdf" disclosed 20 days before trial. Besselsen trial testimony expanded: CPA/Asst VP Finance testified from Salesforce records showing victim attended Interlochen arts camp summers 1994, 1995, 1996 and academy. Russ McMahon confirmed absent from entire DOJ corpus (zero hits) despite being named in NPR investigation -- compartmentalization extends to institutional staff.
v1.4 upgrades (Oscoda/Wurtsmith integration, 40 queries across 8 phases): JEGE Inc confirmed as operational aircraft entity -- FedEx invoice (EFTA01258812) documents July 8, 2005 shipment from L. Morrison at 301 E 66th St to "MR DENNIS LITTLE / TIMCO AVIATION SERVICES" at 3921 Arrow St Bldg 43, Oscoda MI 48750 (former Wurtsmith AFB) with reference "TASK COMS JEGE." Wire transfer records reveal $1.7M+ in payments from Epstein to TIMCO Aviation Services (2005-2012) referencing "JEGE Inc" invoice numbers, proving JEGE was an operational aircraft maintenance entity, not "no business purpose." C.O.U.Q. Foundation confirmed as Epstein-controlled entity at 457 Madison Ave with Koni Foundation as parent entity (same Florida registration); COUQ disbursed $50K to Marvin Minsky, $50K to Singularity Institute for AI, but $17K Koni-to-Interlochen gift and Leon Black/Wexner contributor names not found in corpus documents (Florida corporate filings only). Fifth Third Bank Traverse City: recurring Fedwire transfers confirmed (Oct 2005, Jan 2006 at $8,400), plus Requiro Scientia LLC (Epstein entity) check on Fifth Third for Michigan state tax payment, and Fifth Third Bank records separately subpoenaed by SDNY. Frances Jardine identified from Maxwell trial cross-examination (DOJ-OGR-00019084/00013501) as woman Epstein was "dating in 1994" who flew Aspen to Traverse City on August 18, 1994 with Epstein and Sophie Biddle -- Maxwell was NOT on this inbound flight but reappeared at TVC for August 20 departure, while Jardine did not depart. Obstruction evidence: "Interlochen" designated as search term on Epstein's seized electronic devices under "Potential Victims" category (EFTA00101065); pre-charge evidence checklist (EFTA00026528, Dec 12, 2019) lists Interlochen records as priority before charging Maxwell; AUSA email (EFTA00029315) identifies victim's 1994 application photos as anticipated trial exhibit; Rodgers kept passenger-name logbooks 1991-2007 then stopped (EFTA00159199). Interlochen staff confirmed in Besselsen WebEx notes (EFTA00159743): Pat Kessel (current CFO), Dave Stave (1990s CFO), Peg Johnson (fundraising), Dan Bauer (operations). Sandy Berger confirmed as FedEx co-recipient on same Epstein invoice as TIMCO shipments (EFTA00217019, Sep 23, 2005). Three Maxwell proffer documents (EFTA02846943, EFTA02846680, EFTA02780700) NOT FOUND in corpus -- likely sealed. Weinstein-Interlochen claim (EFTA00153703) NOT CONFIRMED -- document contains victim statement with zero Weinstein content.
As of February 22, 2026, no criminal charges related to Interlochen recruitment have been filed against any individual other than Epstein (deceased) and Maxwell (convicted). SDNY pursued Interlochen for 20 months with 3 subpoenas, received document productions, and prepared 5 government exhibits (GX-741 through GX-745) for the Maxwell trial.

Non-zero jmail hits: Ken Starr (222 relationships from jmail-person node), but exclusively in contexts unrelated to Interlochen or Michigan.
This 18-of-18 zero result is statistically extraordinary. A person (Foley/Espinosa) who served as Maxwell's executive assistant for 6 years appears ZERO times in Epstein's email server. An institution receiving $685,000+ in donations over 13 years generates ZERO email traffic. A flight destination visited 5 times generates ZERO mentions. This pattern is consistent with deliberate compartmentalization: Interlochen communications were conducted through channels not captured in the jmail corpus. The Foley-Maxwell correspondence (EFTA00579157 et al.) used Yahoo! Mail addresses, not Epstein's server. Ambrose-Maxwell correspondence (DOJ-OGR-00016044) was physical mail or institutional email.
v1.2 mining identified 50+ non-jmail documents mentioning Michigan names, distributed across source datasets including doj-ogr (Maxwell trial records), doj-epstein-files (EFTA corpus), and epstein-doc-explorer. This confirms the Michigan operation was documented -- but exclusively in channels that Epstein did not control (subpoenaed institutional records, trial transcripts, FBI interviews, CRM databases). The complete absence from the one channel Epstein DID control (his personal email server) is the compartmentalization signature.
The following claims from anonymous sources (4chan /x/ thread July 4-5, 2022; Telegram source "spider man Red" February 2026) are explicitly excluded from findings. They are documented here for investigative completeness but carry no evidentiary weight:
Eric Harris's father Wayne Harris was stationed at Wurtsmith AFB (publicly documented) and Eric Harris appears in 2 DOJ corpus documents (HOUSE_OVERSIGHT_020666, HOUSE_OVERSIGHT_020683) as well as a doj-ogr Person node co-appearing with Dylan Klebold. These are NER extractions, not investigative connections to Epstein.
What were Maxwell trial exhibits GX-741 through GX-745? -- v1.1 resolved: GX-741 = Ambrose 1993 lodge memo (DOJ-OGR-00016040). GX-742/GX-743 = student camp applications (EFTA00019438, EFTA00089962). GX-744 = student records (Besselsen testimony). GX-745 = lodge photograph (Besselsen testimony, now "Green Lake Lodge"). -- Status: RESOLVED
What was the photograph on page 87? -- SDNY specifically requested a color copy. Interlochen did not have one. Photograph was sent by Besselsen (IMG_115...). May be related to GX-745 (lodge photo). -- Status: PARTIALLY ANSWERED
Why was Melinda Luntz not on the return flight from Traverse City? -- She flew in August 7, 1998 but is not listed on the August 11 return. Returned by other means or stayed. Zero jmail hits. -- Status: OPEN
What is Clarkeson Research Group? -- Listed as Luntz's employer in the black book. Not identified. -- Status: OPEN
Does Epstein (or associated entities) own property in Iosco County, MI? -- v1.4: TIMCO/Wurtsmith FedEx evidence confirms Epstein's operational use of Oscoda facilities. Fifth Third Mortgage Company disclosure contains Michigan-specific items. Requiro Scientia LLC made Michigan state tax payments from Fifth Third Bank account. Not yet searched in county records. -- Status: PARTIALLY ANSWERED (v1.4)
What is in the remaining fulltext of EFTA01849070? -- v1.1 resolved: Epstein's reply to Morrison: "yes your option and yes start" -- authorization for Oscoda repair work. -- Status: RESOLVED
What was the nature of Alpena Holdings Group, Corp.? -- Confirmed in ICIJ offshore leaks database. Alpena is 60 miles north of Oscoda. No connections returned from graph query. May be coincidence. -- Status: OPEN
What was Kimberly Foley's role at Interlochen? -- v1.2 clarification: Groff FBI interview places Foley on hiring panel for GROFF'S position at Epstein's company (Feb 2001), not at Interlochen directly. Trial testimony establishes she was Maxwell's EA (Oct 1996 - summer 2002). Grand jury witness list (entry #10). But what was her specific connection to Interlochen operations? She is documented on the Interlochen hiring panel per the original v1.1 interpretation, but the Groff interview text specifically describes Groff's hiring, not Interlochen staffing. -- Status: PARTIALLY ANSWERED
Was Foley's Picerne Group work related to Epstein properties? -- v1.2 finding: Picerne Group employment (October 1996 - October 2003) overlaps EXACTLY with Espinosa's trial testimony about working as Maxwell's EA (October 1996 - summer 2002). Did she hold concurrent positions? Was Picerne Group the payroll vehicle for her Epstein/Maxwell work? The description of managing "residential moves," "renovation and remodeling projects on several residential properties," and "worldwide tours" is strikingly consistent with Epstein/Maxwell property management duties. -- Status: OPEN (ELEVATED PRIORITY)
Who is Jessica Ciralsky? -- Person node exists in graph (doj-ogr-person-jessica_ciralsky, 1 relationship). "Ciralsky family" also exists as a separate node. The Feb 1995 thank-you letter (DOJ-OGR-00016047) references this family being referred to Interlochen by Epstein. -- Status: OPEN
What was Tim Ambrose's full knowledge of Epstein's activities? -- v1.3: FBI FD-302 (EFTA01249911, June 2, 2021) recovered. Ambrose confirms: "MAXWELL was the gate keeper for EPSTEIN," lodge "segregated away from main campus," Maxwell called "on multiple occasions telling them what EPSTEIN wanted," and Epstein "approached [Ambrose] to put money towards a student" but institutional policy was not to accept directed gifts. Ambrose claims he did not recall scholarship students until shown documents by defense PI. VP 1990-1999, flew on Epstein's N908JE June 29, 2006. Claims "nothing made us aware" (NPR 2026). The FBI 302 suggests Ambrose knew Maxwell was controlling access and lodge operations but may not have known the criminal purpose. -- Status: SUBSTANTIALLY ANSWERED (v1.3)
Why did the Wexner Foundation $185K lodge contribution and FirstMark $100K "in Epstein's honor" donation never appear in public reporting? -- v1.4: COUQ/Koni Foundation adds another hidden channel. COUQ Foundation controlled by Epstein at 457 Madison Ave, Koni Foundation as parent entity. If the claimed $17K Koni-to-Interlochen gift is accurate, this represents a third unreported funding source. -- Status: OPEN (EXPANDED v1.4)
What is the connection between Kenneth Starr (financial advisor) and the Interlochen House Oversight documents? -- v1.2 RESOLVED: HOUSE_OVERSIGHT_021958_part2 contains James Patterson "Filthy Rich" book excerpts, not Interlochen-specific content. Kenneth Starr's MENTIONED_IN relationship to this document is an NER extraction artifact, not a substantive connection to Interlochen records. -- Status: RESOLVED
Why do the Picerne Group and Epstein/Maxwell employment timelines overlap exactly? -- Espinosa testified she worked as Maxwell's EA from October/November 1996 to summer 2002. The Picerne Group letter states Foley worked there from October 1996 to October 2003. Same start month, same person, two employers. Were these concurrent roles, or was one the cover for the other? -- Status: OPEN (NEW v1.2)
What additional testimony did Espinosa provide beyond the recovered pages? -- v1.2 recovered pages 32-37 and page 71 of 246 total pages in Document 761. Approximately 200+ pages of testimony remain unrecovered. What did Espinosa testify about regarding Epstein's properties, daily routines, and Maxwell's activities during the 6-year EA period? -- Status: OPEN
Who is the "potential additional victim" identified from a podcast in the SDNY prosecutor email? -- EFTA00097133 references prosecutors identifying a woman from a podcast who described meeting Maxwell and Epstein at Interlochen "when they walked up to her with their little dog." Maxwell told her Epstein liked her "beautiful blue eyes." Prosecutors discussed reaching out for an interview. Was this the same person as NPR's "second victim" (late 1990s)? Was she ever formally interviewed? -- Status: OPEN (NEW v1.3)
What is in "Ex._D_Interlochen_Records.pdf" from the defense disclosure? -- EFTA00009985 shows the defense possessed independent Interlochen records disclosed 20 days before trial. What did these records contain? Were they duplicative of prosecution exhibits GX-741 through GX-745 or different records? -- Status: OPEN (NEW v1.3)
Did Jane actually tell the FBI that Epstein introduced her to the dean of Interlochen? -- Defense cross-examination (DOJ-OGR-00017718) references her December 2019 FBI statement. At trial, Jane confused this with the Julliard dean. v1.3 identifies Dean Boal as the active dean during the Epstein period (named in the Aug 26, 1993 GX-741 memo as involved in lodge siting). Whether Boal is the dean Jane referenced remains unconfirmed. -- Status: PARTIALLY ANSWERED (v1.3)
How many students did Epstein pay tuition for at Interlochen? -- Prosecutors in EFTA00097133 write "there may be other students" and note "Epstein has been donating tuition" (plural, systemic). Were additional students beyond Jane identified? -- Status: OPEN (NEW v1.3)
What triggered Interlochen's decision to stop counting Epstein's tuition payments as charitable contributions? -- EFTA00097133 documents this tax reclassification. Was it prompted by the 2006 Palm Beach investigation, the 2019 arrest, or an internal policy change? -- Status: OPEN (NEW v1.3)
Why does Russ McMahon (Interlochen Director of Annual/Major Gifts 1994-2003) appear zero times in the DOJ corpus? -- Despite being named in NPR's 2026 investigation and serving during the entire Epstein donation period, McMahon generates zero fulltext hits. Is this compartmentalization, or were his records never subpoenaed? -- Status: OPEN (NEW v1.3)
Who is the recipient of Mandelson's "Sharon Churcher needs to know" directive? -- Epstein orchestrated simultaneous information dissemination to Mandelson and Landon Thomas on the same day (May 27, 2010). Was Churcher ultimately contacted? Did this result in published reporting? -- Status: OPEN (NEW v1.2)
What does the "Robert Acton" alias reveal about Evelyn de Rothschild's activities? -- Epstein states Evelyn was "masquerading under the name Robert Acton, while still married" and that he "helped" with FirstMark. What financial activities required an alias? -- Status: OPEN (NEW v1.2)
Who is Frances Jardine? -- v1.4: Identified from Rodgers cross-examination and Dubin direct examination as a woman Epstein was "dating in 1994" who flew with him from Aspen to Traverse City on August 18, 1994. She was NOT on the August 20 return flight. Dr. Eva Dubin recognized her name but not last name. Rodgers did not remember her. Defense summation listed her alongside Celina Midelfart and Sherry Lewis as women Epstein concealed from Maxwell. -- Status: OPEN (NEW v1.4)
What is JEGE Inc's full corporate purpose? -- v1.4: Wire transfer records prove JEGE was the customer entity for aircraft engine maintenance at TIMCO Aviation ($1.7M+ in payments 2005-2012). FedEx reference "TASK COMS JEGE" confirms operational communications role. Boeing 727 aircraft logs show JEGE Inc as billing and shipping entity. Gulfstream GIV (N-120JE) offered for sale by "JEGE LLC" in 2019 at $2.8M. This refutes the characterization of JEGE as having "no business purpose." -- Status: SUBSTANTIALLY ANSWERED (v1.4)
What is the relationship between COUQ Foundation and Koni Foundation? -- v1.4: Florida corporate filings confirm Koni Foundation Inc (N96000002084) is the parent entity of COUQ Foundation, sharing the same West Palm Beach address (250 Australian Avenue). COUQ's JPMorgan account was at Epstein's office (457 Madison Ave). Directors: Howard Siegel, Lewis Kapner, Howard Wiener. What role do these directors play in the broader Epstein network? -- Status: PARTIALLY ANSWERED (NEW v1.4)
Why was the Fifth Third Bank Traverse City wire beneficiary redacted? -- v1.4: Two Fedwire transfers to Fifth Third Bank in Traverse City (Oct 2005, Jan 2006) have redacted beneficiary names. Combined with Requiro Scientia LLC's Fifth Third checking account and the Michigan mortgage disclosure, this suggests a broader Michigan banking relationship beyond aircraft maintenance. Who received the $8,400 wire? -- Status: OPEN (NEW v1.4)
What do the Maxwell proffer documents (EFTA02846943, EFTA02846680, EFTA02780700) contain? -- v1.4: All three returned zero results across six source datasets. These appear to be sealed cooperation proffer and pretrial procedural documents. The external dossier claims Maxwell admitted "helped Forester... she'll deny it" and that Forester was listed as a witness in Giuffre v. Maxwell Rule 26. Cannot verify through current corpus. -- Status: OPEN (NEW v1.4)
What caused Rodgers' trial prep document to truncate at "DR confirmed that mainta--"? -- v1.4: EFTA00159199 cuts off mid-sentence at what may have been the point where changes to recordkeeping practices were discussed. The full document may contain the Indyke directive claim. Is the complete document available? -- Status: OPEN (NEW v1.4)
Did Epstein and Weinstein have any documented connection to Interlochen? -- v1.4: EFTA00153703 (attributed to Weinstein-Interlochen content by external dossier) contains zero Weinstein references. Fulltext search returns zero Weinstein-Interlochen connections. The claim is unsubstantiated in the current corpus. -- Status: CLOSED -- NOT CONFIRMED (v1.4)
